Full name : Selena Marie Gomez.
Nicknames : Sel, Selly, Selenita, Conchita (Call me wtv you want).
I was born on : July 22, 1992, Grand Prairie, Texas, United States.
My parents : Mandy Teefey and Ricardo Joel Gomez.
I'm half Italian, Mexican and American dissent.
My parents divorced when I was only five years old. so I was raised as an only child by my mom.
I went to a normal school till I was 12 years old. Then I started getting Home schooled. In 2010 - I earned a High school diploma.
I'm a pure Catholic ( Mexican, American).
We do everything that's Catholic, but we don't really have anything traditional except that we go to the park and have barbeques on Sundays after church.
I developed an early interest in acting from watching my mom prepare for and act in theater productions.
My early carrer began in 2002, when I played Gianna on Barney & Friends.
I later had minor roles in Spy Kids 3-D : Game Over and the TV film Walker, Texas Ranger : Trial By Fire.
Latter in 2004 Disney channel invited me for some minor rolles in Disney episodes : "Suite Life of Zac and Cody" and "Hannah Montana".
In early 2007, I got the lead roll part as Alex Russo in Wizards Of Waverly Place. (2007-2011).
I've also had many lead roles in movies : "Another Cinderella Story", "Wizards Of Waverly place The Movie", "Romona and Beezus ", "Princess Protection Program", " Monte carlo''.
In 2009 I was presented as a member of The Scene Group. So now we are called " Selena Gomez and The Scene" and we have 3 albums sold out in no time : Kiss and Tell, A Year without Rain, When The sun Goes Down.
Please don't hurt my best friends on this site (because they are the only real and if you want I can give you the answers why and prove that I'm real).
